Fun times in Portland Oregon

Shawn and I decided to go to Portland last week, and we had a total blast! I loved Portland. It is built on the ocean, and it is beautiful. It is like being in a jungle. They have the most charming homes, and beautiful gardens there. It was totally fun. We went to a great seafood restaurant there. We went to the coast, drove through all the gorgeous moss covered forests, went Dungeness crab fishing without any formal experience, went to the Tillamook cheese factory, the rose test gardens and the Japanese Gardens. So pretty!

Old friends

So, I think it is kind of good that we are moving. All of my old friends are coming together, and we all get to hang out, and catch up. Marissa, Cherie and I got together a couple of days ago, and it was so fun to see Cherie, since I have not seen her in awhile. It is always good to see Marissa. I changed Marissa's baby Kaylee's diaper even! I am getting to be so grown up :) Ha ha. I will have plenty of opportunity when I have my own child.

The other great thing about us moving, is that Shawn will not have to travel like he is now. He has been going on a lot of daytrips inspecting restaurants around the USA. He will be gone when I wake up, and come home just in time to go to bed. I am really excited that will stop (maybe not entirely) but at least slow down. I am sure I will have much more exciting posts in the future. Toodles!

I decided to start a blog since we are moving

Hello! I guess this is the new in-thing to do, so I will join the crowd on this one. Not a lot of people know that we are moving to New Mexico, so here it is.... we are moving to New Mexico :) I am super excited to be able to move away from the area I grew up in, so that when I feel like not getting dressed up, I won't run into anyone I know (like I do so often) Shawn is going to be a part owner of the New Mexico Costa Vida franchise. Fabulous! Okay, okay, I bet you are wondering about the picture..... well, in case you have never been to NM, this is just a small taste of what it is like down there. The building in the right corner, is yes.... a 24 hour adult porn shop, and the Roman Catholic church decided to add their 2 cents which made for a hilarious photo-op. I could not get the picture of the other billboard, but it said in humungous letters "GOT METH? We make house calls" yeah. I know it is great.

Well, I guess I should tell about what we are up to. I am in the process of creating my own business. I am going to just start selling on ebay from my own store, and I want to branch out and eventually open up my own online store. Shawn just wrote a book.
