Up in Durango, Colorado. So beautiful

Durango has incredible townhomes and condos here
very luxurious. They are all marble inside
J Bo's Pizza
These ribs are the most incredible I have ever had
The countryside is just beautiful
Air Gliders. We saw a few in the air on the way in
Here is the train that is famous in Durango

I am by the bees making honey behind the glass

The store is incredibly cute
These mountains are so pretty
This ranch had a waterfall. It was private property, so we couldn't get closer, but I would love to have a waterfall at my ranch!
We stopped off at a cookoff
Here is the dirt road we were driving on in the car trying to find our way back

We went up to Durango last week. It is about 35-45 minutes away from Farmington, and it is so beautiful. We decided to spend half a day there. We started out just kind of driving around. We drove around the college campus up there, and around the nice homes. Durango reminds me of a mix between Park City and Sun Valley. We both really like it. We were hungry, and decided to stop and eat at a restaurant by the college called J Bo's Pizza and Ribs. They have the most delicious ribs and sauce I have ever had! Their pizza is incredible. It tastes like Litza's Pizza, but better! After our stomachs were full, we went up to Honeyville, and went to the HOneyville honey store. They have a live hive in there behind glass. They have a lot of honey products, it's incredible, and their honey is all different flavors and so delicious. It is a cute little shop in such a beautiful area! We would love to live there! It's so green, and different colors of red rock peek through the green on the mountains, and it is so incredibly beautiful. There are so many things to do there. River rafting is really big here, and floating down the river. The Animas river is a major part of Durango. The restaurants here, are compared to the ones in San Francisco, and have been said to be better. They are expensive though. They have plane glider rides, the train ride, pretty hikes, little shops, golf course, etc,... On the way home, we were driving through Aztec, and there was a turn-off for Navajo Lake. Shawn wanted to see it, but didn't realize it's about 21 miles away. We went about 5 miles and decided to turn around, but we used my GPS to get back the fastest way, well, it had us get onto a dirt road. We were driving past oil fields, and kept going. The road was getting rougher and rougher, but we kept going. Mind you, we were in Shawn's Mazda Protege. Not the best four-wheeling vehicle. I thought we were going to high center the vehicle a few times, but eventually found the paved road. It was a great time while it lasted.
